Very few women seem to have the “perfect” relationship with their Mother-in-Laws. In fact, I have yet to meet one who does. There is a reason for this. It comes down to a very basic need all women have. Understanding this need is about her, and not about you, can go a long way in helping your relationship succeed.

‘The Apprentice’ TV reality show is described by boss, Sir Alan Sugar, as “a job interview from hell”. By the fifth episode, five out of sixteen candidates had been fired.
Sir Alan described his ideal apprentice as “someone who is drop dead shrewd.” The word ’shrewd’ suggests practical, hard headed wisdom and common sense. In some ways, it is the opposite of ‘artistic’.
In episode five, Sir Alan wanted to see if the apprentices could sell in the soft sell world of the art market. He met them at Christie’s. Here, art works sell for hundreds of thousands of pounds.

I could write an entire book about Amazon.com and how to use it to make money. There are so many options, most are free and you should utilize all of them. Many authors complain about the percentage Amazon charges when they list their books for sale and make sales. They complain about the shipping charges and packaging specifications. I do not understand this. If it were not for Amazon.com I would not have as many sales and customers as I do. I am grateful that Amazon is there for me to utilize and make money with. There is nothing else like it, look at Barnes & Noble for example. They are not just a chain of book stores but have an online presence just like Amazon. They do not have the audience, power or free tools for authors that Amazon does and therefore are not as successful. In my opinion you are missing out if you don’t utilize all Amazon has to offer you as an author.

There is a proven statistic that can be applied to direct our activity towards the results that we desire. The statistical formula looks like this: 80% of our success comes from 20% of our activities. That means that 80% of our efforts contributes to only 20% of our success. When analyzing people who are struggling, it is quickly realized that they tend to focus on those activities that seem to generate the lowest results. Their day is consumed with the attending to those tasks which have little effect on the overall picture.

Collaboration is important for your future. Let’s look at your future expectations by viewing the past. How did you celebrate a recent event of importance to you?
Thinking back upon a childhood memory, I remember looking forward to Easter. This was when I received a new pair of shoes and new clothing for Easter Sunday. It was a happy time. But, one year it didn’t happen—I didn’t get my new shoes and clothes. I remember being completely disappointed. To this day I carry that memory. While I do not let the childhood memory immobilize me, it’s still present in my consciousness.

Truth: You must take action in order to Succeed.
What are you going to do with the information you have learned in this article, or the next course or book you read? That is the key. The difference between those that make things happen and those that sit by and let life happen to them is that doers take action. Not only do they take action, they take it on a consistent basis and they take action in timely manner. If you want to be successful you need to take the information you learn and put it to use now.

Your comfort zone is the place you feel safe, where there is no sense of risk. To step out of this place can feel scary and the thought of transforming the status quo can be overwhelming.
It is also very easy to say that you will make change in your life when you have lost weight/moved house/have more money/the children have gone to school, etc, then never make that change or come up with new excuses not to move forward.

Success, real, glittering and astounding success demands from each one of us a price. It is a price that we are all able to pay. However, it is also a price that very few have the courage to pay. The price for winning in life, though it may look too exorbitant at times, is never beyond our reach. The problem is never in the price in that it is too high; but in us because we choose to approach the game of life as weaklings.
