When you want to build muscle, you must eat a proper diet. A complete, balanced diet will provide your body with the nutrients it needs to grow and accommodate the expansion of muscles so that you can achieve that Michelangelo-sculpted body you’ve always dreamed about.
A proper diet will consist of a balance of the recommended servings of each of the food groups, with an emphasis on protein-based foods. Building muscle requires a massive amount of protein, as protein is the main cornerstone for developing muscle.

The evolution bit.
The human body, over millions of years has evolved to become bipedal, to stand upright, along with this evolutionary process, our muscles have adapted to maintain this form, however, the human body maintains the flexibility to react rapidly to its individual environmental conditions, i.e., form follows function.
How it effects you.
So.. If you remain in a seated position, your muscles will adapt to provide optimal functionality in that position. It does this by applying changes to your bodies balance, lengthening some back muscles while shortening muscles in the abs and front of thighs.

To enhance performance and increase endurance effectively, each young athlete and their parents should make proper nutrition, on and off the field, a high priority. Proper nutrition takes planning and preparation and begins at home. Proper nutrition will not only help build strong bodies, but also strong minds. And it will set each young athlete on the road to a healthy adulthood.
Game day nutrition is especially important because the proper nutrients will help regulate blood sugar and keep energy levels up. Whey protein will help build lean muscle and assist in recovery. Staying hydrated will also help with recovery from exertion.

Think back the last time someone told you that soccer is nothing more than just an act of showmanship. It hurts, doesn’t it? You were wishing that you had a way of debunking this.
Well, starting from today, do not allow people to talk you into believing that soccer is detrimental to your health, much less an act of showmanship. Sure, due to the robust nature of play, soccer players often suffer from a multitude of injures, fractures and sprains. A few of them even fall prey to the Sudden Death Syndrome and perished on the pitch. But if you currently an active soccer player, rejoice as the latest scientific research has proven to a certain extent (which I will detail later) that soccer players are far superior athletes – mean and lean running machines with plenty of lung power. Here’s proof taken from the recently concluded British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences Annual Conference 2007.
