Retirement for most people is a positive thing, unless it is due to illness. More retirees leave their jobs because they want to, not because they are pushed out. So for most, the last day on the job is a joyful one. But, maybe retirees are not prepared for another feeling that often follows that last day of work: a profound sense of loss.
You’ve Got Company
A recent study done at Temple University showed that the majority of retirees have one thing in common: They feel lonely. It wasn’t for the lack of friends, family, and social activities. Instead, it was a loneliness for the kinds of relationships established during their working years.

When you need electrical help, an electrician is your best choice. Of course, you have to pay for them, so what kind of expense are you looking at?
There is no definitive guide to the price of electrical work done by a qualified and licensed electrician in the United States. The price of their services and of electrical work in general will vary widely from electrician to electrician. It will also vary from area to area. Competition is generally good for the consumer and shopping around for a good price for your electrical work is going to enable you to find the best price.

There’s been a trend I’ve come across of late. Not sure if im the only one but this is how it goes. I received an email from someone in Malaysia asking me to join his MLM. Then another 1 from the USA saying join this MLM now, ride the next big wave.
This gets to me for 1 reason. Why jump ship and encourage others to do the same? If you’re a Network Marketer, then stay in your MLM business unless its for some earth shattering reason that you wish to change your business. By having to jump ship and tell everyone this is the opportunity to join, it just tells everyone that you need to be at the top to make money, and that there is no longetivity in this business.

First, it is important to allot time every day to manage your business. A home business can be a catch twenty-two. It allows you to be home with your family or simply to be comfortable as you work, but the distractions can be endless. As you start your home business, begin practicing a schedule by which you can ensure you spend enough time getting your business off the ground. If you schedule this time in just as you would schedule a dentist appointment, you are more likely to give it the priority it deserves.

When redoing my kitchen I wanted to add a chair rail border midway on one wall. I wanted something different, not your usual wood rail. So I looked at the different raised stencils thinking that they might make a nice rail and thought about using flat painted borders but decided that they were not the effect I wanted.
It then came to mind to do something very different.
I created a faux solid stone rough rail 2” wide by a little less than ¼” thick.
I used a water based patching plaster compound (Spackling) to create this effect.
