Okay, you’ve got about 25 students in your room. Someone told you when behavior issues arise, there should be a sequence of events that ensues, starting with a warning.
What warnings do is insure that all of your students know they can get away with certain behaviors at least once a class before any real consequence takes place. It’s like ONE FREE PASS for bad behavior.
So if each student wants to misbehave, that’s a good 25 warnings to start.
Of course, what usually happens, is that the student gets more than one warning–that’s a bonus pass.
Now if you go to second layer warnings–you know–the SERIOUS warning, you could be up to 50.

Many of us growing up wanted to go to the NASA Space Camp in Alabama and of course that would not be easy, as the competition was severely tough. Recently one of our Online Think Tank members from the UK notified us that he was building a VR or Virtual Reality, 3D, Surround a Sound model, simulator of the Space Shuttle, he is in Europe. Cool stuff.
Indeed as a space enthusiast myself, I have visited Alabama Space Camp in my travels as a tourist, it is a really neat place. Did you know that in Mesa AZ, The Boeing Company donated a simulator to the school district and that is excellent. I agree that Space Camp will be needed as we all head for the stars soon, in our lifetimes.

Asteroids, comets and meteorites are all around us, most are no threat to earth. However those that are more than 15 m (500 ft) in diameter and generally have orbits that cross ours or come close to us, (0.05 AU , roughly 7,480.000 km or 4,650,000 mi), are considered Potentially Hazardous Asteroids.(PHAs)
NASA has currently identified 912 known PHAs. The reason that these objects are a threat is that their orbits, although they are currently known and plotted, can change. An asteroid that passes close but poses no threat now can have it’s orbit disturbed by any one of many factors and possibly pose a greater threat of impacting earth.
